Eurodent Hambaravi OÜ uses “Hammas” dental practice management software when providing healthcare services. This software enables the management of patient data, treatment information, digital images, treatment plans, and billing, as well as the sending of SMS reminders.

The “Hammas” dental practice management software streamlines the work of both the dentists and the clinic as a whole, helping users consistently provide high-quality dental care. By registering for the visit, you agree to the aforementioned activities.

Key situations in which Eurodent Hambaravi OÜ may process your personal data

when registering for dental services – upon registration for an appointment (in person, via email, by phone, or through online booking), we process your data (name, personal identification code, address, contact details, etc.);
during the provision of healthcare services – the collection of health data (including from the e-health database), as well as entering, modifying, and adding information to your medical record, is necessary primarily for providing the dental service, assessing your health status and the progress of treatment, and creating a treatment plan;
during the provision of healthcare services, the dentist may take photographs of you (including your full face) to consult with specialists (e.g., technicians, laboratories). Sharing these photos allows the dentist, with the expert’s assistance, to determine the most optimal treatment plan and/or necessary procedure, and to perform other actions required to provide the healthcare service.

The dentist may use photos taken during your treatment for training purposes to help dentists develop more modern treatment techniques. For this, the dentist will ask for your permission (consent). You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by sending a signed statement to the email address info@primadent.ee. Withdrawing consent does not invalidate actions taken prior to the withdrawal. Your child or a person under your guardianship has visited us for a dental appointment – we process your personal data to verify your relationship with the patient. We provide you with information regarding the patient’s health data unless the patient or law enforcement authorities have specified otherwise; the patient has designated you as their contact person – we process your contact details to convey information related to the patient;

you request the release of your own (or your child’s or a person under your guardianship’s) medical records – the release of documents takes place in accordance with legal grounds and in compliance with security measures applicable to the transfer of personal data;

you submit a complaint or an information request to us (including via communication channels) – we use your personal data to clarify the circumstances related to the complaint/request and to respond to it;

you apply for a job at the Eurodent Hambaravi clinic – we rely on data shared by you and data that can be collected from public sources. By sending us your CV, you consent to us contacting you.

Data Protection and Processing on the Eurodent Hambaravi OÜ Website

Eurodent Hambaravi OÜ collects data about you arising from your use of www.primadent.ee (hereinafter also referred to as the “Website”), including, for example:

when you book a medical appointment on the Website, in which case you may be asked for your name, contact details, address, and billing address;

Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Data and Other Data

Storage of Personal Data and Location of Storage and Processing

Eurodent Hambaravi OÜ retains your data for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose of its collection or for a longer period if required by legislation. Pursuant to the Health Services Organisation Act, Eurodent Hambaravi OÜ is required to retain your personal data for 30 years from the date of data collection. When the data is no longer required for the original purpose, it is deleted in accordance with the adopted data processing guidelines.

Collected personal data is processed within the Republic of Estonia. Upon your request or with your consent, we also transfer your personal data outside the Republic of Estonia.

Your rights regarding data processing

If the legal basis for processing personal data is the legitimate interest of Eurodent Hambaravi OÜ, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data based on your specific situation. You have the right to access the personal data the clinic has collected about you. Additionally, you have the right to correct and/or supplement the personal data being processed.

Withdrawing your consent does not render the processing of personal data that occurred prior to the withdrawal unlawful.

Correction, restriction of processing, and deletion of personal data

Eurodent Hambaravi OÜ is required to correct, delete, or supplement processed and/or currently processing personal data without undue delay if, in light of the purpose of the processing, the data is incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete, or outdated.

You have the right to request that Eurodent Hambaravi OÜ restrict the processing of your personal data in the following cases:

if you have contested the accuracy of the personal data being processed;

If the clinic refuses your request to correct inaccurate data, you will be notified in a format that allows for reproduction in writing. The notification will also state the reasons for the refusal. In such a case, you may contact the Data Protection Inspectorate regarding the matter.

The clinic will notify the recipients to whom the data has been disclosed, as well as the source of the inaccurate personal data, of the correction, unless doing so proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

Eurodent Hambaravi OÜ reserves the right to unilaterally amend the aforementioned privacy terms without prior notice.
